Our goal is to offer air cargo service as an alternative to meet the needs of companies and event agencies in Venezuela that require the transfer of air cargo to the destination Los Roques; and through the charter service for other destinations.




At AEROCARIBE, we are the best ally in air transport to Los Roques. We offer cargo services for: individuals, innkeepers, travel agencies, local businesses, and residents. In addition, with our charter flight service, we can transport your cargo to any national destination.

General conditions for transportation:
  • - Maximum weight per package or parcel: 23Kgs.
  • - Maximum dimensions per package or parcel: 70(cm) long X 50(cm) high X 50(cm) wide.
  • - Oversized or overweight cargo requires prior approval.
  • - Must be presented 2 hours before the flight departure.
  • - Must be transported with the corresponding documentation according to its nature, including the commercial invoice.
  • - Boxes, bundles, and packages must be opened at the counter for inspection before being packed and sealed again. (Take your precautions)
  • - All cargo must be checked in accordance with Civil Aviation Law and company policies.
  • - AEROCARIBE does not transport any type of DANGEROUS GOODS.
Allowed Types of Cargo:
  • General Cargo:
    • Everyday products that are safe to transport, such as food, clothing, and manufactured items.
    • Does not pose a risk to the flight.
  • Special Cargo:
    • Requires special attention due to its nature.
    • Includes:
      • - Live animals: Need specific conditions for their well-being.
      • - Perishable cargo: Fresh food that requires refrigeration or temperature control.
      • - Fragile cargo: Delicate items that can be easily damaged.
  • Restricted Goods:
    • Not dangerous, but require prior authorization.
    • Example: large electronic equipment, medical equipment, works of art.
Packaging Requirements:
  • Standard Packaging: All cargo must be properly packaged to withstand the rigors of air transport. The packaging must be sturdy, sealed, and correctly labeled.

    Recommendations:
    • Opt for rigid, new cardboard boxes of appropriate size for the contents.
    • Use strong packing tape designed for shipping.
    • Do not use strings or paper wrappings.
    • Avoid exceeding the allowed weight and content of the box.

  • Packaging for Fragile Cargo: Fragile items must be clearly marked as "Fragile" and have packaging that protects the contents from impacts and vibrations.

    Recommendations:
    • Wrap each item individually with appropriate protective material (bubble wrap, foam, etc.).
    • Use corrugated cardboard dividers to prevent contact between items.
    • Ensure that the contents are immobilized within the box.

  • Perishable Cargo: Must be packaged in a way that maintains the appropriate temperature throughout the transportation process, using refrigerated containers, and under no circumstances will be accepted in cardboard boxes or any other container that may deteriorate during handling or allow liquid leakage.

      Recommendations:
    • Use containers of adequate volume to maintain the cold chain and protect perishable cargo.
    Sender Responsibilities:
    • Compliance with Regulations: The sender is responsible for ensuring that the cargo complies with all applicable regulations, including packaging, labeling, and declaration.
